Team V Technology specializes in Responsive Web Design in Syracuse or anywhere in the United States. Responsive is a term commonly used by knowledgeable website developers to describe the practice of creating a website that contains multiple versions for the following devices:
- Desktop Computers
- Laptops
- Tablets
- Phones
How do we make a website responsive? A breakpoint system is used to measure the height and width of the device’s screen. We then adjust the style and adapt the layout for an optimal user experience. This includes font sizes, image adjustments, mobile navigation menus, and much more.
Our continuous investment in the latest and greatest frameworks has allowed us to build custom websites start to finish on time and on budget. We generally take a specific approach when building your website, however, we can work with just about any method you prefer. Some of these methods include HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, CodeIgniter, Shopify, Joomla, Drupal, and much more.
Content Management Systems (CMS)
Currently, most new websites have some sort of CMS built in to allow the site’s owner to control content, photos, videos and much more. We typically build our websites with WordPress. However, we can install any purchased theme if your company needs a quick site launched. The advantage of building a WordPress theme from scratch is it allows us to perform updates faster and more efficiently. It is also much more affordable for our clients when they need updates. Over the years, our customers constantly come up with new ideas and having a custom theme allows us to seamlessly make these ideas come to life.
Shopping Carts
We have built a variety of online stores throughout the last decade. Some have been complex, but generally our shopping carts allow customers to select products, change sizes and colors, and securely complete a checkout purchase via credit / debit card, ACH / eCheck, PayPal, and more. We can then attach these orders directly to the customer allowing for a clear order history, updated sales tracking, and special member discounts. We can either build you a custom shopping cart using our programming experience or set one up for you with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or another company that you prefer to work with.
Automated Recurring Billing / Custom Payments
One of our favorite types of websites to create include subscription-based platforms. These typically involve user registration and trial periods that allow a user to test out your services before making a payment. This way they can become comfortable signing up and giving it a try before they buy. We can customize your website’s functionality in any way, shape, or form that you need it to. Read the examples that we built below as they certainly showcase different ways your website can accept payments to authorize users.
Buy My Small Business
One example of this is the www.buymysmallbusiness.com website. BMSB is an online platform that allows business owners / brokers to create a custom for sale business listing. The users can register for free, upload content / photos of their business for sale, and launch for seven days. If they decide they want to keep the listing active, they can choose an affordable monthly plan based on their needs. This plan will automatically bill the user on a monthly basis until they decide to cancel their subscription (which is as simple as hitting cancel and typing in their password to confirm).
Competition Executive
We also had the pleasure of building www.competitionexec.com. This website was built for the dance competition industry and one requirement was to create a unique payment solution. Our team worked alongside the client to create a credit-based platform. Customers can use the program if they purchase credits on an as needed basis. Each credit allows a specific number of dance participants so smaller competitions require less credits and larger competitions require more credits to use the website. There is also a bulk credits option that can be set by the owner. The more credits you purchase, the more you save.
